La Iglesia Casa del Rey nace en el corazón de Dios en diciembre del año 2005 cuando los Pastores Jhon Paul y Olga Sefair son movidos a la ciudad de Barranquilla a pastorear un grupo de personas que se encontraban como ovejas sin pastor.. . Esto no sin antes pasar por varios procesos de quebrantamiento donde Dios hace caminar a los pastores por un desierto, al igual que lo hizo con Moisés, y donde reciben sanidad en su hogar, en sus finanzas, y son formados en el carácter ministerial.. . Así, la voluntad de Dios es cumplida y bajo la visión clara de ir y hacer discípulos a toda Barranquilla, en el año 2006 nace este ministerio donde actualmente se realizan 5 servicios los domingos y 2 los días jueves, y que hoy congrega más de 2.500 personas, cuenta con más de 400 Grupos de Amistad y más de 1000 líderes.. . Casa del Rey se origina en el deseo de Dios puesto en el corazón de los pastores de ver a los enfermos ser sanados, los cautivos ser liberados, los pobres ser revestidos de nuevas ropas, las familias unidas, en un lugar lleno de excelencia en donde se evidencia el reinado de un gran Rey, en donde los enlutados y dolidos se llenan de gozo.. .
