Sara Baringoltz, quien convocó a un grupo de reconocidos profesionales y docentes universitarios provenientes de distintas líneas teóricas. El espíritu de respeto por la diversidad y búsqueda de integración sigue vigente hoy en día. Los distintos modelos cognitivos encuentran reconocimiento en nuestra institución.. Contamos con mas de 30 años de trayectoria en la enseñanza profesional de posgrado. Nuestro objetivo es brindar la formación más actualizada y amplia posible, al mismo tiempo que proveer herramientas terapéuticas que enriquezcan al profesional.. Las figuras internacionales más destacadas del campo han sido invitadas por la institución a través de los años y los miembros del CTC han participado constantemente en Congresos Internacionales, entrenamientos en el exterior y actividades científicas nacionales.. Durante estos años, la Institución, a través de sus miembros, ha producido numerosos trabajos científicos, publicando además dos libros: “Aportes Cognitivos a la Psicoterapia” compilado por Sara Baringoltz (1996) y “Terapia Cognitiva: del dicho al hecho” compilado por Sara Baringoltz y Ricardo Levy (2007).. Los objetivos del centro son: la difusión, desarrollo, enseñanza e investigación en esta línea de psicoterapia.. El CTC no es un centro asistencial sino de formación de posgrado. Los integrantes del CTC brindan asistencia psicológica en sus respectivos consultorios en forma privada.. Las actividades docentes se desarrollan durante todo el año, ocupando un lugar destacado el Posgrado en Terapia Cognitiva, que dura dos años y tiene un especial reconocimiento nacional e internacional. Es de destacar que el nuevo plan de posgrado implementado desde 2007 reúne los requisitos de carga horaria, teórica, de entrenamiento y de supervisión requeridos por la Asociación Argentina de Terapia Cognitiva para la certificación que brinda a sus miembros como Terapeuta Cognitivo.. .
