Detailed description is Ceol na Mara is a unique summer school for strings that runs in Connemara. Our 10th anniversary course will be taking place from July 23rd - 28th 2017. Ceol na Mara is is a family friendly music summer school for all ages and levels. Located deep in the Connemara countryside. We offer classes in chamber music, chamber orchestra and traditional Irish music, interspersed with some singing and drama for the younger members and music appreciation for the adults.. We have developed into quite an extended family as participants return year after year. Part of its charm is that although we work hard, we also know how to enjoy ourselves and make the most of all the wonderful facilities on our doorstep! We look forward to welcoming more newcomers this year and introducing them to the best kept secret in the West - The Ceol na Mara Experience! . .
