The continued growth resulted in greater demands in all aspects of the club; these demands being for more classes, teachers, teacher assistants, computers, printers, scanners, copiers, and “SPACE”.. . The opportunity to move to new premises became available early in 2002 and the committee readily took up the offer. We now had our new club house (although rented) and the committee and members were enthusiastic and excited about the future. This became effective Thursday January 31st 2002. The club could now run a dedicated classroom, and a second room for special classes, Internet, and office use.. . Since then, Computer Pals Blacktown Inc. (as it is now known) has continued to grow, to get to where it is today.. . Today. . Today, Computer Pals Blacktown Inc., now 16 years old, is bigger than ever, and self-sustainable.. . We are now lucky enough to have nice up-to-date equipment and software, including a brand new 55″ LED screen and two 42″ screens for demonstrations, a modern server connected up to 21 computers with dual core processors, Windows 7 & Office 2010, 4 laptops, a photocopier, 3 printers, a ScanMate photo scanner, a QPix slides & negatives scanner, an iPad 2 and an iPhone 4 and we would like to thank all our sponsors - Blacktown workers Club, Bloody Good Computers and our special friends along the way..
