L'équipe Corpus LSFB de l’Université de Namur réalise un projet de recherche sur la langue des signes. L'objectif est de rassembler un échantillon de vidéos (corpus) de la Langue des signes de Belgique francophone (LSFB) telle qu’elle est utilisée aujourd’hui par la Communauté des Sourds. Ce corpus permettra d'approfondir la connaissance de la LSFB, de mettre en avant sa richesse linguistique, d'améliorer les cours de LSFB et la formation des interprètes. Les vidéos constitueront aussi une trace de l’usage de la LSFB aujourd’hui et des informations culturelles sur la communauté des Sourds.
