We are a group of local parents passionate about nature play. We are developing a nature playground in the Cummins Railway Triangle Park along the southern fenceline (Miekle St) targeting preschool to primary age children. . . Picture this... families, friends, visitors and school groups can meet at our beautiful park where the kids can burn off energy in an obstacle course inspired nature playground. Built out of natural elements promoting sensory stimulation and problem solving. It encourages imagination, ability to challenge and confidence to experiment. The fun and adventures the kids will have while they climb, balance, crawl and play are proven to benefit their physical health and mental well being. . . This exciting project will complement the Triangle with funding already committed by the District Council of Lower Eyre Peninsula and the Cummins District Community Bendigo Bank and has received over 200 signatures of support. . .
