Whether you have a graduation, a work banquet, a birthday party, or whatever, don't stress out about what kind of wieners to buy for your guests who will forget about the food when their done with their plate. Make an impression instead. A lasting one. The type where many days later your guests are still talking, "WOW. The Johnson's had the best BBQ I've ever had at their daughters graduation party...." You know what to do...Call Black Label BBQ and secure a weekend as they fill up fast. . . So what we have is a mobile Texas-style competition smoke pit that is transported to your location the day before your event. We set everything up and begin the smoke process usually early on the day of your event as here at Black Label, we like it low & slow.. . We specialize in baby back ribs [1st place awards], pulled pork shoulders aka Boston Butts [1st place awards], beef brisket [1st place awards], and chickens. And yes, this is some award-winning stuff here folks.. . To deliver the best final product, it starts at the beginning. We buy local meat product only and always do our best to support local economies. From there, we use only our own homemade rubs [yes, we rub our own meat] which does have a small amount of spice / heat to it. We then smoke briskets up to 10-12 hours, shoulders 8-10 hours, ribs 6 hours, and chickens 4 hours using predominately cherry wood with some apple and some hickory.. . The BBQ sauce used is a homemade apple-bourbon [Jim Beam Devil's Cut Bourbon] that perfectly compliments the homemade rubs for a layering of flavors that makes your mouth water. We also have a dipping sauce which is a homemade North Carolina mustard-based style which is amazing even to those who don't favor mustard. . . Price is $675 + cost of meat which we provide at wholesale prices from a highly reputable local butcher. Price is subject to change based on unusual variables such as travel distance, amount of people, etc.. . FUN FACT: Black Label BBQ and Sweet Mullets Brewing Co. often team up and smoke/ serve BBQ ribs right at their brewery in Oconomowoc.
