Detailed description is Dance Divine is a Christian ballet school dedicated to praising God through the art of classical ballet. Our inspiration comes from Psalm 149:3 which exhorts us to, "Let us praise His name with dancing." Dance Divine was founded in 1982 by Ana Jacobs in order to train classical dancers for this purpose. Each year, original ballets based on Bible stories are choreographed and showcased at an annual performance. These presentations use dance, drama, beautiful costumes and sets, and stunning lighting effects to bring the Bible to life in a unique uplifting of praise to our Savior.
