Detailed description is An Open Campdraft that is held in November each year.. Campdrafting - what it's all about!. . There's 3 categories - Junior from 8 yrs - 12 yrs. Juvenile from 13 yrs to 17 yrs & Senior for the want of a better word!. . Description - Cut Out & Horsework.. . Cut Out - There are up to 8 head (less for the juniors & juveniles) in the cut out yard, 2 head are added after each 2 campdrafters.. Once a rider cuts out a beast, they must stay on that beast. If the rider loses the beast back into the mob once, they lose 4 or 5 points.. A 2nd loss is a disqualification.. . Outside Horsework - On the Course. The faster & closer to the pegs the better, good judgement is needed to change sides at the right times, to guide the beast around. There is a time limit of 40 seconds once the rider leaves the camp. If the rider gets the beast through the 2 pegs on the far side of the arena, that's the completion of the course.. All new competitors / spectators are welcome to attend.
