The college memorizes eminent educationists, a legal luminary, philanthropist, Dr. Brijendra Swarup, M.A., LL.B, and LL.D, then the president of Premier Arya Samaj, Meston Road, Kanpur, after whom the college was named as Dayanand Brijendra Swarup (Post Graduate) College popularly known as D.B.S. (P.G.) College, Dehra Dun. Hon'ble Shri Jagendra Swarup, Advocate & MLC is presently Secretary of the college as well as the Dayanand Shiksha Sansthan.. . The D.B.S. (P.G.)
