Detailed description is . . Okulumuz Ankara’nın Mamak İlçesine bağlı Demirlibahçe Semti; Uzgörenler Sokağı, numara 15’tedir.. . Rivayete göre, Timur’un 1402 Ankara Savaşı sırasında bugünkü Demirlibahçe İstasyonu karşısında hâlâ durmakta olan ulu çınar ağacının yanında konaklaması ve atını o ağaca bağlamasıyla semtin adı Timurlu Bahçe olarak söylenmeye başlanmıştır.. Diğer bir rivayete göre de semtimizde etrafı demir parmaklıklı, bahçeli bir ev yapılmasıyla; başka bir rivayete göre de demiryolunun geçmesiyle semtimiz Demirlibahçe’ ye çevrilerek bugünkü adını almıştır.. Okulumuz, “Özel İdare” tarafından sobalı ve 3 katlı olarak 1949 yılında inşa edilmiştir. 1953-1955 yıllarında özel sınıfları içine alan “Rehberlik Araştırma Bürosu” Ankara’da; ilk defa okulumuzda açılmıştır. Yine ilk defa Türkiye’de “Gündüzlü Sağırlar Sınıfı” da bu yıllarda okulumuzda açılmış; 1986 yılında faaliyeti durdurulmuştur. Ayrıca 1954 yılında Türkiye’de ilk defa “Üst Özel Sınıf” okulumuzda açılmış olup ülkemizi temsilen yurt dışına öğrenci buradan gönderilmiştir.. . 1964 yılında “Demirlibahçe Kütüphanesi” okulumuzda açılmış ve birkaç yıl bu isimle faaliyet göstermiştir. Daha sonra okul kütüphanemiz “Ahmet Deveci” ismini almış ve halen bu isimle öğrencilerimize hizmet vermektedir.. . Yine 1964 yılında okulumuzun arka bahçesine baraka tipinde ortaokul yapılmış, daha sonra ortaokulun buradan ayrılmasıyla bu baraka ilkokula eklenmiştir, 1988 yılında da barakanın yıkılmasıyla yerine okulumuza ek bina yapılmıştır.. . 1966 yılında okulumuzdan emekli olan bir öğretmenimiz için düzenlenen veda törenine katılan Milli Eğitim Eski Bakanlarından Tevfik İleri’nin katkılarıyla sobalı olan okulumuz, kalorifere kavuşturulmuştur.. 1971 yılında ana sınıflarımız faaliyete geçirilmiştir. Şu anda okul öncesi eğitimi yapan 4 ana sınıfımız ve 1 özel eğitim sınıfımız vardır.. . 1992 yılında ilköğretim okuluna dönüşmüş olan okulumuzda ikili öğretim yapılmaktadır.. . Okulumuzda 1 müdür, 2 müdür yardımcısı, 3 rehber öğretmen, 56 öğretmen, 1 memur, 1 kadrolu ve 2 sözleşmeli hizmetli, 1 sözleşmeli güvenlik görevlisi görev yapmakta; işlik olarak 1 müdür odası, 2 müdür yardımcısı odası, 1 memur odası, 1 kütüphane, 2 laboratuar (1 bilgisayar ve 1 fen bilgisi), 1 teknoloji ve tasarım atölyesi, 1 spor salonu, 1 spor odası, 1 çok amaçlı salon, 1 destek eğitim odası, 1 çay odası ve 19 derslik bulunmaktadır.. . Okulumuzun ilk müdürü 1949 yılında Fuat Beydir. Daha sonra sırayla Turgut CAN, Vahit AKDOĞAN, Cemil SÖNMEZ, Alper TÜZÜNER, Sabri EROL, Kemal SAKLAR, Ahmet ZORLU, Şerafettin DURSUN, tekrar Kemal SAKLAR, Hilmi AKTAŞ ve Sinan DOĞRU okulumuzda müdürlük yapmışlardır.. . Şu anda okulumuzun Müdürü Seyami GÜZEL’dir.
