Հիմնադրամի պատմությունն ունի նախապատմություն՝ առանց որի պատմությունը չէր լինի։ Հայրս՝ Հակոբ Ջամբազյանը, ծնվել է Երուսաղեմում, այնուհետև ընտանիքը տեղափոխվել է Հորդանան։ Ամերիկացի մի բարերարի օգնությամբ 18 տարեկանում մեկնել է Շվեյցարիա և ավետարանական դպրոցում աստվածաբանական կրթություն ստացել, հետո արդեն տեղափոխվել է Լիբանան, որտեղ ռադիոհաղորդումներ էր վարում հայերի համար: Սա զուտ աշխատանք չէր՝ հանուն աշխատանքի. հայրս այս կերպ փորձում էր Լիբանանում ապրող հայերին որքան հնարավոր է մոտ պահել հայկական արմատներին։ Այս մտածելակերպով մեծանում էինք նաև մենք։. . Լիբանանում պատերազմական իրավիճակի պատճառով մենք տեղափոխվեցինք Գերմանիա։ Ամեն շաբաթ և կիրակի հորս հետ միջոցառումներ էինք կազմակերպում Գերմանիայի, Հոլանդիայի, Շվեյցարիայի տարբեր քաղաքներում։ Ներկայացնում էինք հային՝ որպես մշակութային ու համամարդկային վեհ արժեքներ կրող ժողովուրդ, օգնության ծրագրեր էինք իրականացնում Լիբանանում ծանր կացության մեջ հայտնված հայերի համար։. . 1988-ի դեկտեմբերին, երբ մեզ հասավ Սպիտակի երկրաշարժի բոթը, աղետից մեկ շաբաթ հետո հորս նախաձեռնությամբ Հայաստանում սկսեց աջակցության տարբեր ծրագրեր իրականացնել Գերմանիայի Հայ Օգնության Կենտրոն հասարակական կազմակերպությունը, որը նեցուկ դարձավ հազարավոր երեխաների և նրանց ընտանիքներին (սնունդ, հագուստ, դեղորայք և այլն)։ Հետո ՀՕԿ-ի հիմքի վրա սկիզբ առավ «Դիակոնիա» բարեգործական հիմնադրամի պատմությունը, որը ձևավորվեց 2001-ին` շվեցարական «Դիակոնիա» Ինտերնացիոնալե բարեգործական կազմակերպության հետ սերտ ու արդյունավետ համագործակցության արդյունքում: Բայց այն գոյություն չէր ունենա, եթե չլիներ դեռ 70-ականներից սկիզբ առած առաքելությունը։ Գերմանիայի ՀՕԿ-ի որդեգրած ծրագրերը դարձան բազմաբևեռ՝ ընդգրկելով ՀՀ-ի ողջ տարածքում ապրող բազմազավակ, անապահով ընտանիքների, ծնողազուրկ, հաշմանդամ երեխաների, Սիրիայից գաղթած հայերի ու Արցախյան հակամարտության ընթացքում տուժած ընտանիքների։ Օգնությունը կազմակերպելիս սկսեցինք 25-30 ընտանիքի աջակցությունից, բայց սա մեծ գործի փոքր սկիզբն էր միայն։ Տարիների ընթացքում մեր առաքելությանը միացան ինչպես անհատներ, այնպես էլ դոնոր կազմակերպություններ։ Սնունդ, հագուստ, կենցաղային պայմանների բարելավում, աջակցություն՝ գյուղատնտեսական աշխատանքները կազմակերպելու, կրթության և առողջապահության ոլորտներում։ Մենք իրականացնում ենք փոքր և միջին զարգացման ծրագրեր ինչպես Հայաստանում, այնպես էլ Արցախում։ Հիմնադրամի իրականացրած ծրագրերից ամենամեծը «Հույսի Ավան» թաղամասի կառուցումն է։ 2001-ին ՀՀ կառավարության որոշմամբ՝ «Դիակոնիա» Հիմնադրամին հատկացված 16 հեկտար հողատարածքում մենք կառուցեցինք 78 առանձնատուն՝ 500 բնակչի համար։ Մեր Հիմնադրամի պատմությունը մեր հոգածության տակ գտնվող ավելի քան 4000 շահառուի պատմությամբ է այսօր արդեն շարունակվում։ Այս շահառուների ու հիմնադրամի կողքին կանգնած բարեգութ հովանավորները հնարավոր են դարձնում հիմնադրամի աշխատանքն ու նախագծերի իրականացումը:. . Կարիքը մարդու արժանիքների հետ կապ չունեցող մի երևույթ է։ Դա ժամանակավոր իրավիճակ է, որից պետք է արժանապատվորեն դուրս գալ։ Հավատում ենք, որ մեր կատարած աշխատանքով կկարողանանք հասնել նրան, որ օգնենք մարդկանց դուրս գալ կարիքավորի ժամանակավոր իրավիճակից։. «Դիակոնիա» բարեգործական հիմնադրամի նախագահ՝ Բարույր Ջամբազյան. . Կարգախոս. Օգնի՛ր, որ փոխես. . The Fund’s history has a background without which there would have been no history. My father, Hacob Jambazian, was born in Jerusalem, later the family moved to Jordan. At the age of 18 with the help of an American philanthropist he traveled to Switzerland and received a theological education at evangelical school, then moved to Lebanon, where he radiocasted for Armenians. This was not just a work for job: this way my father was trying to keep Armenians living in Lebanon as closer to the roots as possible. We were growing up with this mentality as well. Because of the war in Lebanon we moved to Germany. Every weekend we were organizing events with my father in various cities of Germany, Holland, Switzerland. We were presenting Armenians as people of cultural and universal noble minded values; we were implementing aid programs in Lebanon for the Armenians who found themselves troubled. In December 1988, grave news of Spitak earthquake reached us, a week after the disaster at my father’s initiative an implementation of various support programs of the Armenian Aid Center of Germany public organization, which became a support for the thousands of children and their families (food, clothing, medicine, etc.), started in Armenia. Later on the basis of AAC started the history of Diaconia Charitable Fund, which was formed in 2001, but it wouldn’t have existed but for the mission, which had started back in the 70s. Programs adopted by AAC of Germany became multipolar, including large, poor families living across Armenia, orphans, disabled children, Armenians who emigrated from Syria and families who suffered during Artsakh conflict. We started the aid organization from the support of 25-30 families, but this was just a small beginning of a great work. Over the years, both individuals and donor organizations have joined our mission: food, clothing, improvement of living conditions, support, organization of agricultural works in the fields of education and health. We carry out small and intermediate development projects in Armenia and in Artsakh as well. The largest project carried out by the fund was the construction of Huysi Avan community. In 2001, by the decision of government, we built 78 houses for 500 residents on 16 hectares of land allotted to Diaconia Charitable Fund. These days the history of the Fund is spreading by the history of our more than 4,000 beneficiaries. Need is a phenomenon which is not related to human dignity. It’s a temporary state, which one should come out of worthily.
