Nasci em São João Del Rei e desde novinha fui tomando gosto pela culinária, pois minha querida mãe sempre foi uma cozinheira exemplar. Dona Tereza fazia doces maravilhosos e eu achava o máximo, ficava olhando e queria participar daquilo.. Me mudei cedo para a capital e levei comigo a pouca experiência culinária que eu tinha. Fiz vários cursos para aprender coisas novas e cada vez mais eu me interessava por esse tipo de trabalho.. Foi então que a dez anos resolvi aprender a fazer pão de mel, experimentei várias receitas, mas nada ficava exatamente como eu gostaria. Até que um dia uma prima muito querida, Eliana, me deu uma receita de alfajor. Logo, comecei a fazer e fui adaptando a receita do meu jeito, ai surgiu o pão de mel e a marca D'Mel. Como a aprovação foi muito grande, eu nunca mais parei de fazer.. Um tempo depois, eu acordei com a ideia de fazer um rocambole com a mesma massa do pão de mel e acabou que foi um sucesso, assim surgiu o Rocomel.
