We are a chapter of San Francisco Dykes on Bikes Women’s Motorcycle Contingent (SFDOBWMC) receiving approval of our affiliation in August 2011. The “San Fran patch” is proudly worn by full members after qualifying by attending a number of rides & meetings.. . You will find us every year at the front of Pride March Victoria in St Kilda. 2015 marks the 20th anniversary of PMV and Dykes on Bikes has been there to lead every one of them. . During 2013 DoBM Inc members also attended ChillOut Festival in Daylesford, Sydney Mardi Gras, Brisbane Pride March, Adelaide Pride March, San Francisco Pride March, San Francisco Dyke March, San Francisco Trans March, San Diego Pride March, Brooklyn Pride March and Brighton UK Pride March. . . DoBM Inc currently has around 40 members throughout Victoria, including the Western suburbs, Geelong, Bellarine Peninsula and Central Victoria.. . You don’t have to ride to become a member!. DoBM Inc offer associate memberships for those who just want to hang out with us as much or as little as you can make it.. We do encourage and support members who wish to gain their motorcycle licence.. . Fundraising is a major part of our club. During our inaugural year we donated money to RSPCA Victoria, The Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre Melbourne and The Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne. . Since then we have supported and continue to support many charity rides including the annual Geelong and Melbourne Pink Ribbon Rides (in which we lead the Cranbourne leg), White Ribbon ride, Brown Ribbon Ride, BACA - 100 mile ride, Black Dog Ride and various Toy Runs around Victoria.. In 2013 we hosted a poker run in the Bendigo area raising money for the Black Dog Institute and Righteous Pups Australia. . 2014 has so far seen us donating to Pride March Victoria, Bent TV and Star Observer.. . DoBM Inc also attended the International Female Riders Day at Broadford Motorcycle Complex empowering and encouraging female riders from all over the world!. . DoBM Inc hold and attend monthly rides, cafe meet and greets, monthly meetings, weekenders, day rides, night rides, interstate trips, international trips, social events, fundraisers, pride marches, charity rides, winery tours, pool hall days, lawn bowls, paintball, BBQ's, and much more..
