Detailed description is DIA DE FURIA es una banda de numetal/metal rap del D.F, formada en marzo de 2011..DIA DE FURIA es una banda con un sonido que retoma la agresividad sonora de los años noventa, mezclando sonidos de metal alternativo y metal rap, teniendo influencias directas de bandas como Tool, Incubus, Primus, Chevelle, Nirvana, Rage Against the Machine, Deftones, Korn, Slipknot, Downset, Pantera, Snot, Sepultura, Soulfly, entre muchas bandas más. El nombre es tomado por la película “Un día de furia” (Falling Down) protagonizada por Michael Douglas y dirigida por Joel Shumacher del año 1993.. . . El curriculum de cada integrante es tan variado que van desde eventos y festivales en distintas partes del D.F hasta los territorios del Edo de México, Celaya, Querétaro, Baja California y Morelos; por parte de Carlos Gnomo fue integrante de las bandas Sincódigo, Pequeña Señorita 1565 y Hipter 46&2 teniendo eventos en el Hard Rock Live, infinidad de festivales culturales, Casas de cultura, eventos dentro del metro de la Ciudad de México, CCH y Prepas, entrevistas en Radio UNAM y diversas estaciones de radio por Internet y parte del cartel del Festival X-CENTRICO, del Festival de México en el Centro Histórico en 2008. Beto Prime, con una trayectoria de más de 10 años con Optimus Prime, teniendo eventos en distintos bares y recintos de la ciudad de México, Festivales masivos en la Magdalena Mixhuca, un sencillo en los primeros lugares en ya desaparecida estación Orbita 105.7 y una pequeña gira en 2007 en Canadá. Toño Toxica perteneciente a la desparecida banda de punk rock Toxica Paulina con una trayectoria de más de 4 años por el circuito del punk del D.F. Daniel Tote Sacatripas, fue integrante en Tijuana B.C de de la bande de Punk Los Kolosios Muertos, en el D.F de Word Of Wasted y en su estancia en Canada de Blodbath Before Tea Time con una propuesta más experimental. Por último James Torrente fue parte de la alineación de la banda de punk Torheit en el D.F. hace un par de años.. . . DIA DE FURIA cuenta con más de 60 presentaciones en vivo desde su debut en marzo de 2011 en distintos bares, foros culturales, fiestas privadas, festivales musicales dentro y fuera del D.F, entrevistas en FM, radio por internet y demás espacios de comunicación. Dentro de los logros como banda se tiene: ganadores del concurso “Mi música es mi arma”, en agosto de 2011 del Circo Volador, parte del cartel de la Feria del Libro en 2011 en el Zócalo capitalino, abridores de las bandas de Xibalba (California E.U.) , Alpha y Omega (California E.U.) y Truth Throuhg Fight (Andalucía España) en distintos festivales Hardcore en la ciudad de Queretaro y ser parte de la programación de Central Once de Once TV México con el video clip oficial “He´s got covered”. En este momento la banda se encuentra pre-produciendo su segundo EP y su segundo videoclip oficial, además de planear una gira por Sudamérica y/o Europa en el verano de 2014. . . Agradecemos mucho a todos los que se desmadran en el mosh cuando tocamos y a todos los que se toman el tiempo para escucharnos. Creemos que la violencia en la música puede una gran catarsis social y creemos que es una manera sana de "sacar la furia" para no joder a la gente con violencia cotidiana y lasciva..
