The ElliptiGO is a stand up elliptical bike, which provides low impact exercise and loads of fun – think elliptical trainer with wheels. . . Having been a runner for over 37 years my body unfortunately began to let me know, through a plague of injuries, it could no longer keep up with my passion for running. Subsequently, this has lead me to retire from running much to my dismay. Within the process of searching for a new form of outdoor exercise with less impact I discovered ElliptiGOs – and boy am I happy I did! Upon my first try I was hooked and elated to know there was ‘life after running’!. . Although my discovery of the ElliptiGO was due to running I could see it being used by anyone, not just fitness gurus or athletes. I thought what better way to assist people change their everyday sedentary life than to start up ElliptiGO rides, providing a tool for exercise, fun, fitness, social interaction and rehabilitation.. . Why rehab? I found the ElliptiGO, being low-impact, is a fabulous tool to maintain a level of fitness whilst going through rehab for muscle/joint injuries and post surgery.
