Detailed description is Ska/punk in Honolulu,. 1998 - 1999..Exit 24 was formed in the fall of 1998 in Manoa, Hawaii. Named after the freeway exit they practiced under, the band quickly rose to one of Honolulu's top bands in the "ska boom" of the 1990's. As a band, they recorded and released an EP, "Ready Break," and a full-length live album, "Live on KTUH FM." Various tracks from both albums have been used on various compilations and samplers for Hawaiian Express and Stubborn Records.. . The band broke up only after a year of playing together. Within that time, the band accomplished several neighbor island tours, as well as a tour to Johnston Atoll with brother band, Go Jimmy Go. Members of the band went on to play in other bands: Vincent Black Shadow, Little Moments, 2face4, PIMPBOT, Soul Revival Sound System and Go Jimmy Go.
