Was ist eine Fachschaft?.
Als Fachschaft bezeichnet man alle Studierenden einer Fachrichtung.
In unserem Fall alle Studierenden der Bachelor und Master of Education Studiengänge an der TU Darmstadt.
Meist sind mit dem Begriff Fachschaft aber die aktiven Fachschaftsvertreter*innen gemeint.
In der Fachschaft engagieren sich Studierende zum Erhalt und der Verbesserung des Studiums und bringen Vorschläge und Anregungen in hochschulpolitische Gremien ein.
In unserem Fall ist dies vor allem das Zentrum für Lehrerbildung (ZfL)..

Neben Aufgaben im Bereich Hochschulpolitik bemühen wir uns aber auch um ganz praktische Unterstützung wie Lern- und Arbeitsgruppen die das Studium unterstützen.
Veranstalten regelmäßige Treffen zum Vernetzten und Kennenlernen der Studierenden andere Fachrichtungen und übernehmen die Organisation und Durchführung von Service- und Infoveranstaltungen.
Dazu zählen vor allem die Orientierungstage für Erstsemesterstudierende, die traditionell in der Woche vor Vorlesungsbeginn stattfinden.
Darüber hinaus unterstützen wir das Zentrum für Lehrerbildung bei der Durchführung weiterer Veranstaltungen, wie der HOBIT (Hochschulinfomesse) oder den Infoveranstaltungen für den Vorbereitungsdienst (Referendariat)..
.
Die aktiven Fachschafter treffen sich regelmäßig um über aktuelle Probleme und bevorstehende Veranstaltungen zu beraten.
Diese „Sitzungen“ sind öffentlich und alle Studierenden sind herzlich eingeladen ganz unverbindlich vorbei zu schauen.
Zur Zeit treffen wir uns alle zwei Wochen Montags um 19.30 Uhr.
