Fundada em 30 de Agosto de 1975, a FILARMÔNICA ANTONINENSE nasceu da iniciativa de um grupo de idealistas da cidade de Antonina, litoral do Paraná, que visava estimular nos jovens o amor à música e à cultura. Os anos iniciais foram extremamente difíceis, já que os recursos financeiros praticamente inexistiam, não havia local para ensaios e os poucos instrumentos musicais eram de má qualidade. No entanto, a tenacidade e a perseverança daqueles "sonhadores" aos poucos foi vencendo barreiras e a FILARMÔNICA ANTONINENSE (FA) passou a ser um pólo centralizador das aspirações dos jovens e, também, uma opção profissionalizante.. . O trabalho desenvolvido ao longo de 42 anos transformou a FA numa entidade respeitada e aplaudida no Estado do Paraná e em todo o país. Uma grande parte deste reconhecimento vem do fato de, como BANDA MUSICAL, a FA ser recordista de títulos no Estado, sendo 27 vezes Campeã Paranaense e 3 vezes Campeã Brasileira de Bandas Civis em sua categoria.. . A FA é hoje a derradeira das Bandas Musicais que já abrilhantaram a cidade de Antonina. A primeira Banda que se tem notícia é datada de 1875, a BANDA ANTONINENSE, citada no diário de bordo de Dom Pedro II na ocasião de sua passagem pela cidade em 1880.. . GRUPOS MUSICAIS. . A FA tem, em atividade, dois grupos musicais:. . A BANDA SINFÔNICA (BASINFA) - atuante desde a fundação da entidade, premiadíssima no Paraná e também fora do Estado. Formada por alunos da instituição e, ocasionalmente, músicos convidados, mantém a tradição centenária das BANDAS. Atualmente busca atuar na vanguarda da música para este tipo de grupo musical. Nos últimos anos tem feito estreias mundiais de obras de compositores como Roberto Farias (Tribute do Bach), Peter Boris Koval (Viva Antonina! e Getting There), Harry Crowl (Manguezais), Willian Lentz (Sinestesias), Felipe de Almeida Ribeiro (7#Haiku) e outras. Seu atual regente é Renan Gabriel Pinheiro Gonçalves, graduado e pós graduado em Música pela UNESPAR/EMBAP.. . A FILARMÔNICA ORQUESTRA SHOW - lançada em 2001, como um novo segmento cultural voltado para a modernidade sem perder a qualidade. Com a formação de Big Band, apresenta um show eclético e vibrante, aplaudida por onde passa. Também é formada, majoritariamente, por alunos da instituição. Atualmente é regida por Cainã Alves, Doutorando em música pela UFPR.. . Somando-se as atuações dos dois grupos até a presente data, tem-se mais de 1300 apresentações em diversos Estados brasileiros e em alguns dos principais palcos do país, como: o do Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil (Rio de Janeiro); Teatro Gauíra, Teatro Positivo, Canal da Música, e Teatro Ópera de Arame (Curitiba); Teatro do SESC (Jacarezinho, Ponta Grossa, Foz do Iguaçu, Matinhos e Curitiba); Memorial da América Latina (São Paulo), Teatro Carlos Gomes (Blumenau-SC); Festival de Inverno da UFPR; Clube Curitibano; Teatro da Fundação Cultural de União da Vitória; Teatro Municipal de Ibiporã; Festa de Nossa Senhora do Rocio, Festa de Nossa Senhora do Pilar, Festa de São Francisco do Largo da Ordem e muitas outras.
