A few years later I added the Alinco amateur radio line, with myself being an HAM radio operator it seemed like a reasonable thing to do... Little did I know that the HAM side just will not provide enough income to support itself! I really enjoy selling amateur radios and accessories but due to the low profits and high costs I decided I had to carry something that had a higher demand.. . I have always been interested in electronics so it was only logical that I would try to stay with that type of products. I searched for many different items and many different manufacturers until I found Vertex-Standard Two-Way Radios. Vertex-Standard was glad to accept me as a dealer in this part of the state, they offer high quality radios at an affordable price. . . After a customer came in and said that he had always had Maxon radios and wanted to stay with Maxon, I started checking and ended up becoming a dealer for them too. They also offer a 3-year warranty on their radios and they are priced about the same as the Vertex line.. . In 2011 I started trying to find a pager supplier and after some of my friends recommended USAlert I decided to contact them... They carry the WatchDog pagers, a high quality pager used by many fire departments. They offer a 5 year warranty and are typically priced less than a Motorola Minitor V pager and they offer more features.. . I want to build a business that my family can be proud of and that I can pass down to my kids. For this reason I try to keep a honest business and try to sell high quality items for a lower reasonable price....
