În anul 2001, Fundaţia Renaşterea a iniţiat Programul de Prevenire şi Depistare Precoce a Cancerului de Sân, pentru prima dată în România. În cei 11 ani de activitate au fost realizate rezultate remarcabile în ceea ce priveşte informarea şi educarea populaţiei privind cancerul de sân, conştientizarea importanţei prevenirii şi depistării precoce a acestei boli, oferirea de suport psihologic, accesul la servicii medicale şi crearea de parteneriate internaţionale.. . Mecanismul Financiar SEE (Islanda, Liechtenstein şi Norvegia) a acordat Fundatiei Renasterea, pe data de 5 mai 2009, in urma unui proces de selectie ce a durat 12 luni, in vederea deschiderii unui CENTRU MEDICAL DE EXCELENTA, specializat în diagnosticarea precoce a cancerului de sân si genital. O realizare majoră a acestei clinici medicale este laboratorul de anatomo patologie si imunohistochimie utilat la standarde europene. . . Lansarea primei UNITATI MOBILE DE DIAGNOSTIC DE SAN SI COL UTERIN dotată pentru efectuarea de mamografii şi efectuarea testului Babeş-Papanicolau. Femei din 37 localitati ale României au efectuat gratuit 14.586 de Teste Babes Papanicolau si 8.317 de mamografii. . Programul de Indrumare a pacientilor oncologici (peste 2000 de pacienti monitorizati în perioada 2006-2010). .
