Our vis Grace Adventure is led by an all-volunteer team of Christian leaders. Joining them are many GA alumni who give back in time and energy to make the program run smoothly. In all, over 6000 volunteer hours are donated each and every year.. . Why do people attend Grace Adventure?. . Many people who are interested in growth and healing look to any number of sources for help and direction. They might go to a therapist or a counselor, or they might attend seminars that focus on pertinent life topics. Still others might read self-help books or use other methods of self-exploration.. . People who pursue these paths are often seeking freedom from the pain that stems from issues such as painful life experiences, bad habits, recurring sin, low self-esteem, hopelessness, addiction, or even a general dissatisfaction with life. Grace Adventure is a life ministry that is specifically designed to help people deal with the underlying causes for these types of debilitating issues. It is very intensive without being coercive or manipulative. Some describe it as a spiritual and emotional “boot camp” that is very effective in addressing the issues that keep people from living out God’s purpose and plan for their lives.. . Who has Grace Adventure Helped?. . In the ten plus years since Grace Adventure’s inception, nearly 800 people have been set on a new path toward freedom in Christ and their spheres of influence impacted by that positive change. Approximately 25 men and women have made first time commitments to Jesus Christ. Over 375 marriages and families have been impacted or restored. 125 leaders have been equipped for service at Grace Adventure, but also in their local churches and places of business. 150 young adults have been set on healthier paths as they choose careers, life partners and ministries to impact the world.. . . Why should I Donate?. . Grace Adventure is not your typical workshop. It is broken into four “journeys” that encompass ten days and nights spread across a three month period. Community input is a huge aspect of the ministry, so participants stay onsite through each journey. And, even though Grace Adventure is a volunteer-based organization, there are significant costs involved to provide training facilities, lodging, and meals for the duration of the program. The tuition charged for Grace Adventure only covers about 75% of the actual amount.. . One of our key principles is that we never want to turn people away because they cannot afford to attend. With your donations, we can provide scholarships that fund up to half of the cost of tuition and help cover program expenses not covered by tuition.. .
