Detailed description is . . Guru Nanak Sacred Forest is located in the heart of Chandigarh, India. It is a part of the Guru Gobind Singh College, Sector 26, Chandigarh, and was established in 1977. It is an important religious and cultural site for the Sikh community. . . The forest is spread over an area of 5.5 acres and is home to a variety of trees and shrubs. The forest houses sacred relics of Guru Nanak, the first Sikh Guru, including his sandals, a wooden platform, and a painting of his birthplace in Talwandi. The forest also contains a meditation center, which is used for daily worship by the Sikh community. . . The forest is also a popular spot for picnics, as it has several open spaces. It also has a play area for children and a cafeteria. . . The forest is maintained by the Guru Gobind Singh College, and is open to visitors from 9 am to 5 pm daily.
