Der jetzige Eigentümer erwarb die Immobilie ca.
1990 und vielfältige Nutzungen als Theater, Büros, Möbelgeschäft und Werkstätten für kleine Handwerksbetriebe belebten die umfangreichen Räume..

2005 entstand der Gedanke, ein kleines Hotel und Restaurant für die Region entstehen zu lassen.
Es begann mit 15 Doppelzimmern und einem kleinen Restaurant.
Schon sehr bald reichte dies nicht mehr aus, sodass die Küche und das Restaurant erweitert wurden und nach und nach 17 zusätzliche Zimmer und Appartements entstanden.
