Partinin simgesi Anadolu kartalıdır.2011 Türkiye genel seçimlerinden başarısızlıkla çıkan partinin genel başkanı Osman Pamukoğlu, 23 Haziran 2011 tarihinde partiyi kapatma kararı aldığını duyurmuş ancak 10 Temmuz 2011 günü yapılan kurultayda partinin kapanmaması kararı alınmış ve parti kapanmamıştır.TarihçeParti, 4 Eylül 2008'de kurulmuştur. 24 Ocak 2009'da Ankara Atatürk Spor Salonu'nda gerçekleştirilen 1. Olağan Kurultay'da Osman Pamukoğlu tekrar genel başkanlığa seçilmiştir. 29 Mart 2009 Yerel Seçimleri'ne yasa gereği kurulalı henüz 6 aylık bir parti olduğu için katılamamış ve hiçbir parti veya bağımsız adayı desteklememiştir. Eylül 2009 itibarıyla 52 ilde ve 200'ün üzerinde ilçede teşkilatlanmasını tamamlamıştır ve genel seçimlere girebilecek teşkilatlanmayı yapmıştır.Parti hiçbir sermayeden destek almadan sadece halkın parası ve desteğiyle kurulmuştur. Yaşadığı il veya ilçede parti teşkilatını oluşturmak isteyen vatandaşlar parti yönetimiyle irtibata geçip yaşadığı yerde kendi maddi imkânlarıyla partinin taşra teşkilatını kurmuşlardır. Hak ve Eşitlik Partisi, Ocak 2010 itibarıyla Türkiye genelinde 66 il ve 500 kadar ilçede teşkilatlanmasını tamamlamıştır. 12 Eylül 2010'da yapılan halk oylaması öncesi meclis dışı partiler arasında miting faaliyeti gerçekleştirmiş tek parti Hak ve Eşitlik Partisi olmuştur. Bu süreçte yirmi ilde miting yapmıştır.
