Detailed description is This is a new business venture in which Hospitality and Disability are paired together to create reports for businesses who are looking to see where they are in terms of the AODA After suffering a spinal injury on May 10, 2011, I have focused on being an advocate for people with disabilities and want to see a barrier free world. I am a power wheelchair user as well as ventilator dependent with no feeling or movement below the shoulders. I have learned how to live life to the fullest with my disability and I have not let it stop me from doing the things I love. . . I set a goal for myself three days prior to my accident and I was to visit all seven wonders of the world. I was at Machu Picchu when I at this school and then life changed three days later leaving me a quadriplegic. I have already started to work towards completing this goal as I visited Chichen Itza in February 2016. . . I also completed one of my other major goals in life in 2016 and that was finishing a Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Guelph that I started prior to my accident. Only a short four months after graduating I was able to find a job in my field of study only 15 minutes away from my house.. . Whatever goals, dreams and aspirations you have in life can be accomplished with the abilities you have, and may not be the most conventional way of doing things but you can still live your life.. .
