Detailed description is Help Mend the Cycle is a grassroots project, aiming to provide independence, life skills & joy by donating restored bicycles to underprivileged families. What we do. . We are committed to salvaging bicycles that can be restored and provided to those less fortunate, particularly underprivileged families; children and adults alike for whom the independence a bike provides can be life changing.. . Those who loved their bike as a child will recall the joys of going on rides, the learning found in doing repairs but mostly the empowerment and self-reliance a bike brings. The goal of our initiative is to make these experiences available to all. We believe through the donation of unwanted bicycles, parts, and time we can make a difference and help mend the cycle of hardship.. . Want to get involved?. . We gratefully accept donations of pre-loved or abandoned bikes, parts and accessories or anything else that could help. We will pick up from any area in Adelaide just send us a message.. . Those wishing to volunteer their time to collect or repair bikes we’d love to hear from you.. . Any assistance big or small is welcome!
