We are from Zanskar but have been educated in different places in India, including the Tibetan Children's Village Schools (TCV) in Leh and Bylakuppe and universities in India.. . Our appreciation for our roots in Zanskar has grown over our life. Due to its remote location, Zanskar has been very isolated and was only opened to foreigners in 1974. Since then it's become a tourist destination, but its culture and traditions remain unchanged. Our families still live there and we are deeply connected to this place.
