Die Gesamtkonstruktion ermöglichte eine deutliche Reduzierung der inneren Reibung und des Gewichts der beweglichen Teile, wodurch eine Leistungssteigerung auf 100 PS erzielt werden konnte. Das Chassis wurde insgesamt steifer, da der Motor eine tragende Rolle übernahm.
