Detailed description is Teaching young people to sail; racing sailboats. Our Club operates most Saturdays during the sailing season (September - Easter), and is located at Lookout Bay (also known as Dead Horse Bay) near Brooklyn, not far from the Parsley Bay boat launching ramp and car park.. . The Club is affiliated with the Hornsby Ku-ring-gai PCYC, and has been training children/youth since 1968. Our sailing is taught through participating in our theory sessions on Thursday evenings and followed up with sailing on Saturdays.. . Parental participation is an essential part of the running of the Club and sailing membership is open to all sailors, both experienced or beginners, from the age of 8 years. Boats are provided for beginners, and are maintained by the club at our Lookout Bay boat shed.. . Club racing classes are Manly Junior, Flying 11, 125, Cherub and VS 15 Foot Skiff class.. .
