Detailed description is Hult Prize at BITS Pilani, Goa is a quarterfinal event for the Hult Prize, where winners automatically advance into the regional final event. Hult prize, the result of a partnership between the Hult business school and Clinton global initiative, is the world’s largest competition for social good. For the uninitiated, Hult provides a platform to budding social entrepreneurs and is named as one of the top five ideas changing the world by the TIME magazine. As such, it has attained the title of 'Students' Nobel Prize'. The competition aims to identify the most compelling and apt business ideas that change the social situation of the world for better.. . The competition starts at the college level and then the selected participants are taken to further rounds. The final victors get 1 million USD as seed funding. . . BITS Pilani would, of course, also be hosting it in the Goa campus on the Eleventh of November . Registrations for the college level event are now open and teams are invited to participate in the competition. A few teams have already represented our college in the regional finals that happen in Dubai and it has been a matter of immense pride, both, for the teams and the college.. . The 2017 Hult Prize "President's Challenge" is "Refugees - Reawakening Human Potential" and will focus on restoring the rights and dignity of people and societies who may be, or are forced into motion due to social injustices, politics, economic pressures, climate change and war.
