IDIS was co-founded by Chandrakanth Kamath (Chan) with his better and creative half, Meher Kamath, also a professional portrait, pet and fashion photographer. Chan’s technical know-how, background in art, music and photography and in-depth knowledge of high-end equipment was perfectly complimented by Meher’s artistic bent of mind, thus, giving birth to IDIS. . . Chan who already had an established corporate career working with the top imaging companies in the world like Nikon & Sony, desired something more creatively stimulating. He decided to step out of this comfort zone and focus on what his actual calling was. With the unwavering support of his wife, Meher and Chan’s zeal to bring unique solutions to the industry, their brain-child transformed into reality. There was no looking back from there. . . With the help of a few other extremely proficient professionals, the roots of the company were planted with utmost care. The team members with experiences of more than three decades from diverse fields of work – photography, art, film-making, graphics and illustration, music and engineering - have made the foundation of IDIS very strong. These varied experiences have helped us in developing a unique process to understand our customers’ requirements and achieve desired output in every project we undertake.
