Detailed description is IKGPTU Amritsar campus is constituent college of IKG PTUand only Governement Engineering College in Amritsar district. PIT Amritsar has been established to provide Quality Technical education to students from Rural belt belonging to weaker sections of society in particular, and to people of all sections in general. The main focus is to produce Quality Engineers according to the needs of Industry at State and National levels.. . The PIT has prime location on G.T Road, Amritsar near Guru Nanak Dev University. It has vast campus and a modern four storey building with more than 22,600 sq ft. built up area. It has ultra-modern smart classrooms, well equipped labs, computerized and latest collection of books, updated library, a well equipped conference hall with audio-video facilities,canteen and vast play grounds to provide necessary amenities and facilities to the students. Again PIT Amritsar, has very competent, Qualified and experienced Faculty to cater to the needs of the students.
