No início de 2010, Estácio Rodrigues entrou em contato com os amigos Alfredo Ferreira e Kathia Zanatta e expôs a ideia de criar um curso sobre cervejas especiais, na Associação Brasileira de Sommeliers, em São Paulo (ABS-SP). Kathia, que em 2008 estudou em renomadas instituições da Alemanha e Áustria, retornou como a primeira Sommelier de Cervejas do nosso país. Então, os três começaram a construir o 1º curso de Sommelier de Cervejas do Brasil. Eram muitos anos de experiência, em diversas áreas do universo cervejeiro, somados para dar início a este grande projeto. O sonho começou a tornar-se realidade em 14 Agosto de 2010, com a primeira turma do curso de Sommelier de Cervejas em São Paulo. O sucesso foi tanto que hoje, quase sete anos depois, já são mais de 7.000 alunos formados em 7 estados do país. A consolidação e o reconhecimento do ensino de qualidade vieram com os demais cursos desenvolvidos, entre eles: Introdução ao Universo das Cervejas Especiais, as especializações em Serviço de Cerveja, em Análise Sensorial e Off-Flavours, Harmonização e o renomado curso Mestre em Estilos®, primeiro curso de especialização para os Sommeliers de Cerveja do Brasil.
