Detailed description is IIM Raipur is organizing ICHL 2015: Sequel of ICHL2013 (https://www.facebook.com/ICHL2013) during Feb. 27-28, 2015 ICHL2015 is a sequel to the successfully organized ICHL2013 during 2nd and 3rd December, 2013 by IIM Raipur. This year the theme of the conference is Trends and Challenges in Emerging Economies. While the developed countries have made great strides in dealing with disaster situations and developed a strong know-how in preparedness, management and rehabilitation, much needs to be done in the emerging economies. Emerging Economies, all over the world, become overwhelmed particularly when a major disaster strike, facing flak towards responding to the disaster. The loss of money, manpower and communication apart from the lack of resources and preparedness towards such unprecedented events, sends a shock wave throughout the nation, nay, all over the world.
