É servidor público concursado do Tribunal de Contas do Estado do Rio de Janeiro integrou o quadro de professores da Escola de Contas e Gestão.. . Nasceu em 1973, na cidade de Volta Redonda, iniciou sua participação na política aos 15 anos, na Pastoral da Juventude. Participou do movimento constituinte em 1988, atuou no movimento estudantil, ex-metalúrgico, fez parte da oposição sindical e seguiu militando junto aos movimentos sociais. . . Em 2004, junto com a senadora Heloísa Helena, participou na Associação Brasileira de Imprensa-ABI do lançamento do movimento “Esquerda Socialista e Democrática”. Fundador do Partido Socialismo e Liberdade - PSOL - em 2005, e presidente estadual do partido por dois mandatos.. . Foi candidato ao Governo do Estado do Rio de Janeiro pelo PSOL em 2010, atualmente está vereador na cidade do Rio de Janeiro e segue na construção da Rede Sustentabilidade.
