Es corredor de autos, actualmente compite en Europa en el Campeonato International GT Open abordo de una Ferrari 458 GT2 en el equipo Villorba Corse. Comenzó su carrera deportiva a los 6 años de edad en karting para luego a los 15 años correr en la Formula Renault. Con 17 años compitió en la F3 Sudamericana y la Formula Vauxhall de Inglaterra para luego pasar por los Campeonatos Italiano y Británico de F3 donde obtuvo grandes logros. Entre los años 2002 y 2008 volvió a competir en Argentina en TC2000 con el equipo Oficial Alfa Romeo, Turismo Carretera con Ford y TRV6 con el equipo de River Plate. En el 2009 volvió al viejo continente para competir con una Ferrari del equipo ART en el campeonato Europeo y Español de GT2 donde con 4 victorias se adjudico el 3er lugar del certamen. En 2010 con 7 victorias sobre 11 carreras disputadas, se adjudico el titulo de la categoria GT2 en España, siendo el máximo ganador en una temporada en la historia de este campeonato. En el 2011 finalizo 3ro en el Campeonato Europeo de GT2 con 4 victorias a bordo de la Ferrari 430 del equipo Vitcom siendo el piloto que mas carreras gano en la temporada. En 2012 fue 5to en el Campeonato Europeo de GT2 con el equipo Villorba Abaar Abu Dhabi a bordo de una Ferrari 458 GTC con 2 Victorias y 6 podios. Juan Manuel Lopez Parnes , known as Cochito Lopez was born on March 9, 1980 in Buenos Aires , Argentina . Is a professional racing driver , currently competing in Europe in the International GT Open Championship aboard a Ferrari 458 GT2 in team Villorba Corse. He began his career at 6 years of age in kart and at the age of 15 he run in the Formula Renault . With 17 years old competed in the South American F3 and British Formula Vauxhall championships and then went through the Italian and British F3 Championships where he scored great achievements. Between 2002 and 2008 he returned to Argentina to compete in the Alfa Romeo Official Team in TC2000 and Superturismo and with Ford in Turismo Carretera and TRV6 in Team River Plate . In 2009 returned to Europe to compete with Ferrari in the European and Spanish GT2 Championship and scoring 4 wins ended in 3rd position overall. In 2010 with 7 wins out of 11 races , won the title of the GT2 class in Spain, becoming the driver with more wins in a season in the history of this championship. In 2011 ended 3rd in the International GT Open with 4 wins aboard the Vitcom Ferrari 430 being the driver who won more races in the season. In 2012 he was 5th in the International GT Open in Team Aabar Abu Dhabi aboard a Ferrari 458 GTC with 2 victories and 6 podiums.
