Ein Kulturvakuum in Künzelsau Anfang der 90er Jahre war ausschlaggebend für einige Jugendliche das Zepter selbst in die Hand zu nehmen und Alternativen zum öden Provinzleben zu schaffen. Auf anfängliche Tiefgaragenpartys folgte 1993 die Gründung des Jugendkulturverein Kokolores e.V., womit der Startschuss für ein kontinuierlich wachsendes Kulturangebot fiel.. Mittlerweile hat sich der Verein einen Namen in der alternativen Musikszene gemacht und eins ist klar: Die Künzelsauer Jugend verpasst in ihrem idyllischen Städtchen nichts, was nicht auch in einer pulsierenden Metropole geboten wäre.. Die Mitglieder des Vereins kreieren ein vielseitiges Angebot, welches sich in Konzerten, einem Cafébetrieb und in kulturell hochwertigen Projekten wie Lesungen oder Podiumsdiskussionen widerspiegelt. Neben den Räumen für Workshops im ersten Obergeschoss, in denen jeder willkommen ist seine Art von Kultur zu präsentieren und auszuleben, gibt es auch einen Bandproberaum und ein Fotolabor..
