Heading to Seward you will travel north from the Kenai river valley through flat wetlands with scrub spruce to the mountains with stands of Sitka Spruce forest and clear mountain lakes passing by Exit Glacier to Seward with all its beauty of Resurrection Bay. You may decide to head south on another day along the coastline of Cook Inlet to Kachemak Bay and Homer where you will be treated on a clear day the majestic views of the Aleutian mountain range and Mount Redoubt.
