Detailed description is Épreuves en Eau Libre, organisées tous les ans par le club de Natation de Granville, l'E.V. Granville Natation. Le tour du Roc est une compétition de nage en eau libre dans la Manche à Granville qui se déroule sur un weekend. EIl réunit durant deux jours les meilleurs nageurs de France et de l’étranger et un public toujours plus nombreux.. . Chaque année, l’évènement débute le samedi par la traditionnelle épreuve des 5kms où les meilleurs nageurs nationaux se disputent les premières places et tentent de battre le record de l’épreuve. Puis la journée s’achève par un match de Water Polo dans la piscine du Plat Gousset. . . Le dimanche, on retrouve la Coupe de Normandie sur 1km, épreuve Grand Public, suivi de « La Coupe des Clubs », épreuve de relais sur 4x1km.. . Durant cette manifestation, le public est à l’honneur et peut suivre les nageurs du début à la fin, en longeant la falaise sur la pointe du Roc et la Haute-Ville, pour une arrivée sur la plage du Plat-Gousset. Des animations sont prévues : tombola, musique, jeux et suivi de la course par un speaker leur permettre de vivre au mieux l’évènement ; et des stands proposent multiples produits incontournables pour satisfaire les envies des petits et des plus grands.
