Hi, I'm Bel :) I'm a happy, enthusiastic Swim Teacher who has a passion and love for teaching babies and children how to swim and how to be safe in the water. I truly enjoy working with the little darlings and making a difference. I know every child is different and that's what makes them special :) I absolutely adore when they accomplish something new, I am just as proud of them, as they are of themselves - that "I did it!" smile they have is priceless :) Although paramount, it's not all about the swimming for me though, especially when it comes to the babies. I adore playing a part in their lives, watching them grow and develop into walking, talking (and swimming!) little people. I feel honoured and privileged to be able to be a part of their early childhood, It means a lot to me. My classes are safe, full of smiles and an enjoyable environment to learn and develop a life skill. . . As a Mother of 4, I understand the hassle and inconvenience of taking your child to a local swimming pool for swimming lessons. It's not just the getting to and from, dealing with the traffic, finding a car park and dealing with the queues that's inconvenient, it's getting your child ready to leave and getting them changed and dry for the trip home. There is also a lack of individual time spent with your child in a class. As an example; a child in a half hour class of 5 children, will get a maximum of 4-5 fragmented minutes of one on one time with their teacher, if you take into consideration the teacher giving instructions . . and the teacher dealing with another child's goggles or an upset child. You've seen it all before.. . I'm here to take away all the inconvenience and come to you. You don't have to travel anywhere or deal with the public. I provide swimming lessons that are completely hassle free. Your child is safe and comfortable in their own home environment and can fully focus on their swimming.. . For children 2.5-3yo and over, my focus is only on your child, their needs and abilities, and keeping them safe and smiling. I can adapt the class to suit their individual needs. There are no other children to distract your child either. One on one attention and your child's swimming ability will flourish. You can even continue with your daily ins and outs while I teach them - win/win!. . For babies' groups, I have a maximum of 4 babies with a parent or care giver in the water with them. They would be a group of people both you and your baby know (maybe a Mother's Group or Play Group, babies from child care, friends or family members with similar aged babies etc), in an environment they're familiar with. No noisy, crowded pools with numerous bystanders and no need to get baby changed using public facilities. The class is filled with songs, toys and fun whilst learning and It's all in the privacy of a home environment. . Individual classes are either 20 or 30 minutes in duration and group classes are 30 minutes. If you have more than one child, I am happy to accommodate and come up with a time and package that suits your needs. Overall, I love what I do and feel passionate about making a difference.
