Ce que nos "fans" appellent le Folktronica!.Ils s’apprêtent à conquérir la France!. . LGS (Le Groupe Swing) est une formation musicale franco-ontarienne, créée en 1999 par Michel Bénac. Le groupe se retrouve propulsé au premier plan avec le succès inattendu de l’album La chanson sacrée avec les titres Un bon matin et Ça va brasser. Rejoint en 2002 par Jean-Philippe Goulet, le duo mêle chanson folklorique franco-canadienne et musique urbaine comme la pop, l’électronique, le hip-hop. Leur album La vie comme ça (2003) attire l’attention des médias et du public avec le succès du titre Au nom du père et du fils et du set carré. . . Après son troisième album Tradarnac sorti en 2007 qui leur a valu une nomination dans la catégorie « meilleur album francophone » au prix JUNO en 2009 et leur quatrième et dernier album “Swing” sorti en Mars 2015 qui a rencontré le succès avec les titres C Okay et Le Temps s’arrête, LGS s’apprête à conquérir la France! . . En effet, après plus de dix ans de carrière, plus de 1000 spectacles partout au Canada et à l’étranger devant plus de 500 000 spectateurs, récompensés par 12 prix Trille Or et plus d’1 Million de vues sur YouTube, des critiques unanimes, LGS veut implanter sa folie douce sur le territoire français.
