Detailed description is This is fan site dedicated to Liam James McIntyre. The Actor. The Producer. The Friend.. Some basic information and myself and Liam:. . I fist met Liam in 1994, we were both in year 7 at Caulfield Grammar School in Melbourne, and we hated each other's guts. So much, in fact, that we ended up getting into a fight one lunchtime- of course if I knew that Liam would end up being Spartacus, I would've probably just walked (ran) away. The fight was broken up, and we were sent to the principals office for the dispensing of discipline. While we were waiting for our judgement, Liam and I got talking, and formulated a plan: if we tell the principal that we're actually good friends, he can't possible give us detention! Nice plan, it didn't work though. But, from that moment on, we actually realised that we had heaps in common (quoting The Simpsons, Monty Python at random times), and we became fast friends. . . Nearly twenty years later, and we're still the closest of friends. Liam is my oldest friend, and I really can't imagine my life without him. . . So, how did this Facebook Page come about?. . A few years ago, when Liam was still doing community theatre in church halls and makeshift theatres around Melbourne, and I had dreams about becoming a world-famous screenwriter, Liam and I decided to create fan pages for each other. As you well know, Liam got famous, and his fan page exploded, and now I actually have a real responsibility to him and his many fans of running this page professionally. . . Who am I?. . My name's Tim. I'm a screenwriter wannabe, but I'm also at university studying to be a high school teacher. I also have a fanpage, so if you like, go over there and become a fan. I haven't done anything 'fan-worthy' yet, but maybe one day you can say: "Hey kids, you know that Tim Columbus? I was a fan BEFORE he was famous!" Yes, Columbus is my surname. No relation.. . Some more about the page:. . Sorry if I don't update or add thousands of photos like some of the other fan pages. I like to keep things simple and uncluttered. By all means add your own photos, videos, and even messages to Liam. I still speak to him regularly, and last year even flew out to NZ to hang out on set with him.
