Your recruiter should provide you with the following documents:. 1) DD 1966 (Record of Military Processing) (if under 18). 2) DD 214 (Discharge Papers and Separation Documents) (prior service). 3) REDD (Reenlistment Eligibility Data Display) (prior service). 4) DD 2807-1 (Report of Medical History). 5) DD 2807-2 (Accessions Medical Prescreen Report). 6) DD 2808 (Report of Medical Examination). 7) USMEPCOM Form 680-3A-E (Request for Medical Examination) . 8) MAVNI G845 (if applicable). 9) Passport (non-citizens). 10) Alien Registration Cards (non-citizens). 11) High School Diploma. 12) Birth Certificate. 13) Marriage Certificate . . Once in the MEPS you will place your bag in our baggage storage area (along with your electronic devices) and you will report to your Service Counselor. The Medical Section will identify you through fingerprinting and take your blood pressure. Following that the MEPS Commander (or representative) will brief you about the rules of conduct at the MEPS. . . Following the Commander’s Brief is the Medical Brief. During the Medical Brief the applicants will fill out all pertinent forms needed for medical processing. These forms will cover medical history from birth to present, to include any drug, alcohol, and law violations. Applicants should have information on events and dates ready to provide for the medical interview with the MEPS physician. In the event of an emergency, applicants will need to have with them next-of-kin contact information (blood relative over the age of 18 or a spouse). This information will go on one of the medical forms and is required for processing. After the Medical Brief, the medical processing begins. Medical processing consists of the following:. 1) Breathalyzer. 2) Hearing Test. 3) Vision Test. 4) Blood Draw for HIV. 5) Urinalysis. 6) Interview with MEPS Physician. 7) Ortho-Neuro Exercises (to test muscle strength and range of motion of joints). 8) Individual Physical Exam with the MEPS Physician. . On Mondays, we conduct Daytime ASVAB tests. If you are taking the ASVAB test on Monday morning it will take place after the Medical Briefing (all other tests are conducted in the evening time).. . The Medical Section is typically complete with applicants anytime between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, as long as there are no difficulties. Applicants will then proceed to their Service Counselors for security clearances, job searches, establishing training slots, and setting up the initial contract. This usually lasts until 2:00PM-3:00PM.. . After leaving from your Service Counselor, you will meet with the MEPS processing section. The Processing Section will conduct a background check, take your finger prints, ask you questions about your activities in the past, and you’ll explain your court appearances, tickets, citations, and warrants.. . Lastly, you will swear into the military. We recommend you invite your family and friends to the oath of enlistment ceremony. The ceremonies generally take place between 1:30 PM and 4:00 PM each day, although some applicants finish early and take the oath of enlistment in the morning.. .
