Initially Ma'aden's activities were focused on increasing its gold production, which now includes five gold mines and over 11 million ounces of gold resources, being in compliance with the Joint Ore Reserve Committee (JORC).. . Subsequently Ma'aden has expanded its activities where it established Ma'aden Phosphate Project, which is owned by Ma'aden Phosphate Company and which has started production in 2011; and Ma'aden Aluminum Project which is owned by Ma'aden Aluminum Companies, now under construction phase; beside a number of other projects being executed by Ma'aden. As well, Ma'aden's exploration teams are working to expand the range of available resources in the existing projects as well as expanding Ma'aden's mineral portfolio.. .
