Situată la 4 km de comuna Tudor Vladimirescu, Mănăstirea Vladimireşti este un loc de pelerinaj şi hrană sufletească pentru cei ce-i cunosc istoricul sau îl află când ajung aici ca vizitatori. Mănăstire de maici cu sobor numeros (aproape 200), în prezent se situează pe locul trei în ţară ca număr de personal după mănăstirile Agapia şi Văratec, dar pe primul loc între mănăstirile cu vieţuire de obşte.. Biserica mare - construită pe locul primei apariţii Dumnezeieşti, în formă de cruce conform tradiţiei ortodoxe, are hramul Adormirea Maicii Domnului. La est de Biserica mare este situat Paraclisul (Biserica mică), iar la sud Micul Altar de vară.. Poarta de la intrarea pe domeniul mănăstirii este tipic maramureşeană şi a fost lucrată în 1992. De aici porneşte drumul spre livadă, vie şi iaz. Intrarea în incintă se face pe o alee străjuită de tei, trecând pe sub clopotniţă. De o parte şi de alta se află stăreţia şi căminul preoţesc.. Muzeul deţine 106 icoane vechi din secolele XVIII-XIX. Aici se păstrează crucea de lemn sau “crucea din porumb” cu care s-a însemnat locul Sfântului Altar la arătarea semnului dumnezeiesc. Se mai află o icoană cu Maica Domnului lăsată maicii stareţe de mama sa pe patul de moarte. În stăreţia mănăstirii se păstrează opt potire de argint masiv din cele 12 găsite în faţa sfintei proscomidii în biserica mare (ascunse de o persoană necunoscută, la închiderea mănăstirii). Tot aici se găsesc icoane de valoare.. La sud de biserica mare este mormântul părintelui arhimandrit Visarion Nicolau, ctitorul paraclisului, iar la nord mormântul maicii stareţe Veronica decedată la 15 septembrie 2005.. În afara incintei se află cimitirul mănăstirii, un adevărat parc cu flori în timpul verii.. Mănăstirea Vladimireşti deţine ateliere de pictură, sculptură de rame şi mobilier bisericesc, de înrămat icoane, croitorie, broderie, tricotaje, flori artificiale şi covoare. Gospodăria are 80 de hectare de pământ arabil, zestrea maicilor, vie, livadă, păsări, animale, o brutărie proprie, o bolniţă şi o mică pădure de salcâmi. Din 1996 mănăstirea are încalzire centrală cu gaze naturale.. Dacă edificiul mănăstirii apare ca o oază de reliefuri într-o regiune oarecum monotonă, dominată de terenuri agricole, cei ce ajung aici descoperă o oază de viaţă, o “mănăstire vie” – aşa cum o caracteriza patriarhul Iustinian în 1949 – care trăieşte prin unitatea şi dragostea vieţuitoarelor sale un imn neîncetat de laudă închinat lui Dumnezeu.
