Margaret River Beads was born out of their desire to escape the torrid wet season of Western Australia's Kimberley region - where the couple had been living since 1998, after opening their first shop in Broome they called Broome Beads.. It was there they began their beading journey out of a 30 square metre shop.. Because the self-serve formula had worked so well in Broome, they decided to design their new shop in a similar way - and adopt the same philosophy. .
