Headed by internationally renowned puppeteer, Mr. Mansinh zala , the group was formed in the loving memory ofMs. Meher Contractor, the lady who brought Indian Puppetry to the international platform. Her leadership, dedication and innovation in the field of puppetry has inspired “MEHER” The Troupe to keep her dream alive.. . Since more than three decades, members of this organization have committed themselves to the art of puppetry by experimenting, innovating and performing at local, national and international level. We also use puppetry in the field of social welfare, education, awareness, development etc.. . “MEHER” the troupe enjoys working with creative minds from various field and believes that this is the only way puppetry can reach its highest potential, since it is a synthesis of 24 arts.
