Detailed description is Mid West Taekwondo is a new WT (Olympic Style) Taekwondo Club. The club is resident in the new modern Lough Graney Community Centre sports facility. Midwest Taekwondo is a voluntary non profit making club dedicated to WTF Taekwondo and passing the sport on to all generations. The aim of this club is to teach and develop students to the best of their ability and to compete at all levels from Novice to National Team Level, from ages 6+, spanning each gender & ethnic mix. Our strong student body integrates & overlaps to share the mutual Taekwondo knowledge & appreciation to create a friendly & informative environment while maintaining the tenants of Taekwondo.. . Ethics. . In Taekwondo, there are several principles, or Tenets, to which students are to adhere not only in the dojang (school), or only while training, but in life. The Tenets of Taekwondo deal with the fundamental elements of etiquette. They should serve as a guide for all students. Each of the Tenets is just as important as every other and do not stand alone, but coexist with each other. The tenants are:.
