WE give the children in our care opportunities to learn in a family setting with mixed age groups, where they can feel safe and loved, and begin to build a positive self-image. Your child will receive quality personal and individualized care in a warm and loving home. Your child will have the opportunity to gain practice in language, fine motor, and large motor and self-help skills. They will achieve this through a wide variety of hands on activities and play. While it is our hope and desire for your child to be prepared with all the “proper skills” for Kindergarten, our goal is for your child to be socially and emotionally ready for this huge step in their lives. . Children will not be denied enrollment on the basis of sex, race or religion. However, Ms. Jeannie’s House is a Christian based home and daycare facility. While we will not push our personal doctorial beliefs we do teach the children to pray before meals and use common biblical principles for daily activities and lesson plans. We also celebrate Christmas and Easter as a remembrance of Jesus’ birth, death, burial and resurrection. Greg is a licensed minister with the United Pentecostal Church and is the pastor of New Life Church in West Blocton. He is also the Alabama State Sunday School Dept. Secretary.
